From welcome book to guest guide
A quick walkthrough of turning what you already have into a guide guests will actually use.
Getting started
5 ways to create a guide
Pick whichever fits how you already have your property information. All five end up in the same editor — there’s no wrong choice.
Upload a PDF or photos
Best for: You already have a welcome book
From Properties, click “Add guide” (or “New property” if this is your first one).
Choose “Upload” and drop in your PDF, Word doc, or photos of a printed welcome book.
Guest360 reads the file and pulls out Wi-Fi details, check-in steps, house rules, and local tips automatically.
Review each extracted field — anything the AI wasn’t fully sure about is flagged so you can double-check it in seconds.
Land in the full editor with your guide already 80% written.
Import from a URL
Best for: The fastest possible start
Choose “Import from URL” on the “Add guide” screen.
Paste a link — your Airbnb or Vrbo listing, a Booking.com page, or your own website.
The same AI extraction pulls whatever structured details it can find on the page.
Review and fill in anything the listing didn’t cover (like the Wi-Fi password), then you’re in the editor.
Guided step-by-step setup
Best for: First-time hosts who want it done right
Choose “Set up step by step” and pick Simple or Advanced.
Simple walks you through 5 short steps — access, Wi-Fi, house rules, content, review — in about 2 minutes.
Advanced adds Nearby, Units, extras, design, languages, and guest tools, with a progress panel showing exactly what’s set, partial, or still empty.
Don’t have time to finish? Click “Save & continue later” — your progress is kept and the guidebooks list shows a “Continue setup” badge so you can pick up right where you left off.
Start from scratch
Best for: Hosts who want full control from the first click
Choose “Start blank” on the “Add guide” screen.
Tick the starter sections you want (Wi-Fi, house rules, local tips, etc.) from a checklist.
A draft is created instantly and opens straight into the full editor for you to build out.
Start from a template
Best for: Hosts and agencies with more than one property
Build a template once from Templates in the sidebar — save any guide’s structure and design as a reusable starting point.
When adding a new guide, choose “From template” and pick it from the list.
Every new guide starts with that structure already in place — updating the template later won’t change guides you’ve already created from it.
Whichever method you choose, your guide starts as a Draft — completely invisible to guests until you click Publish. Take your time.

Building your guide
Inside the guide editor
Three tabs, one autosaving draft, and a live preview the whole time.
Content
Everything guests read: Wi-Fi, check-in, house rules, local tips, and any custom sections you add. Drag to reorder, or start from a ready-made section preset instead of a blank block.
Design
Pick a layout, set your accent color and fonts, choose how lists and facts are displayed, and add a cover image. Agencies can apply their saved Brand Kit in one click.
Settings
A sub-tab for everything else: privacy/passcode, host contact card, section visibility, review routing, add-ons, nearby places, units, booking links, languages, sharing (link, QR, PDF), and version history.
Editor features worth knowing about
Merge tokensType {{wifi_password}}, {{check_in}}, {{guest_name}} and more anywhere in your text — Guest360 fills in the real value automatically, and it updates everywhere if you ever change it.
Multi-language guidesWrite once, then translate each section — automatically or by hand — from the Languages tab. Guests see their own language on open.
Live previewA real phone/tablet/desktop preview sits right next to the editor, so you always see exactly what guests will see.
AutosaveEvery change saves as you type — there’s no “save” button to remember, and a status indicator confirms you’re up to date.
Publish-readiness checklistBefore you publish, Guest360 checks for the essentials you might have missed — like a missing Wi-Fi password — so nothing slips through.
Why guests love it
Features that go straight to your guests
These are the details that turn a static PDF into something guests actually use.
Guest Q&A chat
Guests can message you directly from the guide instead of hunting for your number. Replies happen from Chats in your dashboard, with an unread badge so nothing gets missed.
Personalized “Welcome” links
Send each guest a link with their name on it — the guide greets them by name, and you can see which sections they actually opened.
Auto-reply when you’re away
Set your available hours once in Settings. Outside those hours, guests get an automatic “we’re away, we’ll reply soon” message instead of silence.
Paid add-on requests
Guests can request extras — airport pickup, early check-in, a welcome basket — right from the guide. Requests land in your Requests inbox for you to confirm or decline; nothing is auto-charged.
Feedback that protects your reviews
Guests rate their stay privately first. Happy guests get routed to leave you a public review; anything less goes straight to you instead of a public platform.
Nearby places map
Show your favorite restaurants, cafés, and sights on an interactive map with walking distances from the property.
Units for multi-room properties
Running a hostel, guesthouse, or building with several rooms? Give each unit its own door code and Wi-Fi behind a simple per-unit access code, all from one guidebook.
Share link, QR code, or PDF
Share the guide however suits you — a direct link, a printable QR code for the door, or a PDF export. Insights shows you which source guests actually use.
